Mehdi werd geboren uit Tunesische achtergrond in Hauts-de-Seine, de noordwestelijke buitenwijken van Parijs. Hij was een voormalig disc jockey van de groepen Different Teep (ex-groep van Manu Key & Lil Jahson), Idéal J en voormalig lid van het collectief de Mafia K'1 Fry.

Hij was ook lange tijd de quasi-aangestelde producer van de groep 113 en voerde bijna alle productie van de albums voor Different Teep en Karlito uit. Temidden van zijn werk had Mehdi verschillende elektronische acts geremixt en soundtracks gecomponeerd voor vele Franse en internationale films.

Mehdi stierf op 13 september 2011, toen het dakraam van zijn huis in Parijs instortte terwijl hij Ritons verjaardag vierde met een groep vrienden op het dak. Mehdi was het enige dodelijke slachtoffer, terwijl drie anderen gewond raakten.

Mehdi died on September 13, 2011, when the skylight of his Paris home collapsed while he was celebrating Riton's birthday with a group of friends on the roof. Mehdi was the only fatality, while three others were injured.
